I couldn't bear the thought of drawing a xylophone for "X". There aren't many suitable words that begin with "X'". I kept looking through a very old set of encyclopedias and finally found "xerophyte". A xerophyte is a plant that needs very little water and a saguaro cactus is a xerophyte.
